Hey,
How are you? In the midst of a world crisis I keep creating, writing and teaching as this is what keeps me calm and empowered. I'm grateful for the lovely weather, too as I've been able to put on my gardening gloves and plant some daffodils and hyacinths in our garden. Yesterday I spotted a ladybird while weeding and that particular moment brought a lot of joy and presence to me.

This week I am releasing video 2 from my special series with mindfulness activities which aims to help you and your students stay more focused and relaxed in class. Last week I received a few teachers' comments who ventured to use the mindfulness activity I shared in Video 1 and this makes me very happy.
One of the best ways to stay in the present moment is by paying attention to our senses. By appreciating what we can see, hear, smell, taste and feel, we are able to shift our focus to what is happening right now. When we practise mindful awareness regularly, we are training our attention muscle. Every time we focus on our senses, not only do we feel alive but also grow stronger neural pathways.
In this video I demonstrate a short mindful activity which awakens your senses and I often use it with my students.
